The last week of February 2024 still offers a few events across campuses for Black History Month, including at Penn State Brandywine, Harrisburg, Dickinson Law, Lehigh Valley, Shenango, and York. Barbara and Sam Evans, class of 1971, were both in their first semester at Penn State Abington, then known as the Ogontz campus, when they met by chance outside of the Sutherland Building. Recently, a bench outside of the building was dedicated to the pair.
